The Queens Medieval Experiences provides a complete archery experience from beginners to competition archers. We offer have-a-go, one hour lessons, group bookings, birthday parties, corporate, school visits and family days out.

Our trained instructors will teach you everything from stance to aim as you knock, draw and loose your arrows to hit the bullseye!

The Queens Medieval Experiences has been around for a few years but with the crisis of covid and the stopping of events it disappeared.

We offer our services at Fetes, Carnivals, Festivals, Weddings, Birthday parties and Corporate events.
There is a keen Robin Hood in all of us waiting to burst out and our experienced instructors will help you reach your full potential.
We have sharpes or blunts on offer so no matter on your location we can fit in to help you have this fun and exciting addition to your event
Archery is popular with both children over 2 years, and adults as long as they can draw the bow. Our team will come and install each of the targets, safety back netting and perimeter to ensure that everyone stays safe.
Archery is a well loved pastime and olympic sport but its heritage conjours tales of Robin Hood and Hollywood Action Heroes. Our Have-a-go archery is an exciting and popular addition to any event.
We can tailor the experience to suit you,and/or your clients.
The type of range, targets and activities are flexible and can be tailored to suit the participants skill level and the tone of the event that you are hosting.
We can charge you a flat fee so you can offer a free experience to the public or we can charge each participant reducing the cost to you.

Release your inner Viking with our Axe Throwing experience or even your Medieval persona with our Crossbows with The Queens Archers .
Nothing is more satisfying than hearing the thud of your axe as it lands perfectly in the target or your Crossbow Bolt thuding into the target – there’s nothing else like it!
With expert advice, this activity couldn’t be more fun whether you are with a group of friends or a family day out. For ages 8+ with a supervising adult!
Throwing Axes & Tomahawks and shooting a crossbow through the air into a large wooden tree stump or target is a thrilling experience, everyone should do it.
See if you can master the ‘thud’. The ‘thud’ is the sound the axe makes when it sinks perfectly into the target, the thud is the sound that makes you smile and the ‘thud’ is the sound that scores you points!

Our Wedding Archery have a go is a unique addition to any wedding or celebration.
• Qualified Archery Coaches
• A choice of either sharp arrows to hit a target, or blunt arrows to hit a castle.
• Bows for all ages from 2 years to 102 and beyond and any disability
• All safety equipment - safety fencing, safety net etc.
• Trophies / Medals can be added at an additional optional cost, for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners!
• We are fully insured, will provide the venue with a complete and full Risk assesment
Our Traditional archery will bring a touch of uniqueness to your celebration.
We can offer two different types of archery on the day -
• Single Archery where each guest shoot`s (Loose`s in archers terms) 6 arrows, normally spends 5 minutes with the instructor.
• Team Archery- where you split your guest`s in too two group (Wedding party 1, Wedding party 2). Each guest shoots 3 arrows and the scores are marked up on a large chalk board
We offer traditional Archery, our bows do not have sights on them, we are purley based on natural talent and believe us there is a robin hood lurking in all of us.

Wedding Axe Throwing have a go is a unique addition to any wedding or celebration so your guest`s can channel their inner warrior`s.
Our expert professional coaches will teach you to throw your axe safely and accurately.
We can offer two different types of Axe Throwing on the day -

Wedding Crossbows have a go is a unique addition to any wedding or celebration so your guest`s can channel their inner warrior`s.
Dating back to 4 B.C, in both China and Greece, a great activity which has withstood the test of time. We can first see the crossbow being used in medieval battles, renowned as one of the deadliest weapons of the time, rather than a fun filled sport you will be sure to love at The Queens Experiances. Nowadays we can see crossbows being used as a target practice and hunting in some cases.
The ‘Medieval Experience’ is Suitable for everyone (8+yrs) with a supervising adult!.
• Our crossbow range is run with up to 3 active crossbows for safety reasons.
• No previous experience expected or required. We welcome families, couples, and stag & hen parties.

Get ready for an exhilarating family-focused experience like no other with our Knights Training Ground! .
Our expert professional Costumed characters for you to engage with will teach you to use a long sword and you will have the chance to Run our Knights Gauntlet.
This ‘Medieval Experience’ is designed for families with children of all ages.

Terms & Conditions/Cancellations:
Please note we require 7 days notice to amend/Cancel a booking for a have a go session at your event, and while every effort will be made to accommodate you this cannot be guaranteed.
All payments are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation or no show with less than 7 days notice.
Any amendments or cancellation with more than 7 days notice will also incur a 20% charge on the full cost of the booking.
We reserve the right to cancel a session at any time, if this occurs for any reason we will of course notify you by email and offer a refund, transfer to another date or credit voucher at our discretion, no other costs will be considered.
